No. 1, Winton Once land transfers are recorded at the Register of Deeds Office copies of those deeds are sent to Land Records. The deeds are read to determine the correct parcel identifying number for that deed. Once a pin is assigned we are then able to plot the parcel of land by the description to scale. The plotted parcels are checked for accuracy and mapped on orthophotographs. Ownership is then transferred to the new owner for ad valorem property tax. All updated changes on the orthophotographs are then inked on the cadastrals. Blue line maps are then produced by overlaying an aerial orthophotograph on the cadastral for sale to public.   Back to County Services
