ROANOKE-CHOWAN HUMAN SERVICES CENTER Roanoke-Chowan Human Services Center Route 3, Box 22-A Ahoskie, NC 27910 (252) 332-4137 Physical location: Modlin Road, Union 1) Provides quality, comprehensive mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse services to children and adults in a four-county area of the Roanoke-Chowan. Services provided by RCHSC include: -Mental Health Counseling for emotional and behavioral problems -Emergency Services including a 24 Hour Crises Line -Day Program for mentally ill adults (Choanoke Place) -Education and Prevention Programs for the community and schools *All Programs include other mental health related topics. 2) In the area of Developmental Disabilities Services, RCHSC offers a Child Development Center; Early Childhood Intervention program; Rhue Enterprises, the program for developmentally disabled adults; and groups for mentally retarded or disabled adults. 3) Substance Abuse Services include Wiccacon Center, a detoxification and residential treatment center; outpatient substance abuse counseling and treatment for DWI offenders.   Back to County Services
